Please note that starting from december 2016 the identifier of strains imported in CRISPRdb contains the RefSeq assembly accession as defined by NCBI (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/assembly/). The RefSeq assembly accession (GCF_***) allows to better differentiate strains within each species. More information on strains can be found at NCBI.
